Finamex provides operations based on mathematical algorithms to automate and to make efficient the buy-sell process of the Capital Market. Thanks to the technological platform with have, we have developed general and personalized strategies, in a quick and adjustable way, being able to overcome our clients' strictest efficiency expectations, speed and profitability.

World Class Algorithms

The operation based on algorithms (algorithmic-trading or simply algo-trading) is the one based on computer programs designed to send buy and sell orders of stock and other security types automatically, at real-time, with the precise volume and at the precise price to obtain a predetermined behavior. Those algorithms are able to listen, analyze and understand a great quantity of information and they can automatically respond to events of the market in real time in an instantaneous and continuously response.

Pre-designed Algorithms

Finamex provides generic algorithms based on mature strategies that have been perfected in the domestic markets for a while, such as those of time-splitting, weighted volumes, etc... Currently the following pre-designed algorithms are provided as generic:
  • Volume-Weighted Average Price: VWAP.
  • Time-Weighted Average Price: TWAP.
  • Participation On Volume percentage: POV.
  • Target Volume percentage: TVOL.
  • Market maker.
  • Smart execution.
And very soon:
  • Index arbitrage. 
  • Statistic arbitrage.
  • International pairs (domestic vs. ADR) trading.
  • Regular paris trading.

All the predesigned algorithms are able to manage individual names (symbols), or baskets, so instructions can be received together based on specific distribution (for example, based on indexes) or according to any request at the moment.

Customizable Algorithms

Finamex provides the capacity to develop algorithms according to each client's specific needs. To that end, we have a world class team, and also an state-of-the-art technological platform for the algorithms strategies' design and programming which allows us to deliver this kind of services in a very quick and customizable way. The algorithm strategy design process can be carried autonomously by the client, or, together with Finamex expert personnel.
