Finamex was founded on October 29, 1974 as Valores Finamex S.A. de C.V. leader in the Money Markets and Mexican Capitals. In 1982 Bank of Mexico designated Finamex as Money Market specialist; activity in which we have been leads within the independent brokerage houses.

Finamex ihas been listed on the stock exchange since 1987, with Board Code FINAMEX O. It was one of the first Mexican brokerage houses entering the international markets. Nowadays, it has presence in the United States through Valores Finamex International Inc. US Broker - Dealer; registered before NASD since 1990.

In 1992, soon after the banking privatization, Finamex integrates to the Financial Group Promex Finamex together with Banca Promex and Money Exchange Promex Finamex, establishing one of the Mexico Center-West Area Financial Groups leaders.

In 1998 the Financial Group sold its participation in Banca Promex and concentrates its efforts on the Brokerage House, focusing on the Institutional Stock Markets and changes its name to Grupo Financiero Finamex.

In October of 2006 the Financial Group and the Brokerage House merged, achieving an efficient corporate structure according to the assisted financial markets, changing their name to Casa de Bolsa Finamex, S.A. Bursatil de C.V. while continuing to be listed in the Mexican Stock Market (Board Code "FINAMEX").

In Finamex we have managed up to now more than 50,000 clients and we have attention and service’s offices in Mexico City and in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
